The vegetation is growing quick this time of year and it sometimes needs to be cut back from the trails. This morning I joined a trail work party at Dryer Rd park in Victor to do just that. There must have been about a dozen of us. We broke out into groups and spent a few hours walking the trails and cutting away offending vegetation.
Afterward I rode. I followed the Fat Tire Festival coarse for one lap and then made a few more laps of whatever interested me. I enjoyed powering up a lot of hills and the many twists and turns. I probably would have ridden a bit longer but I ran out of time.
